Running from the town of Virginia Beach to Wilmington, Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is a 20-mile vehicular crossing of the area's largest body of water. Four man made islands can be seen from various points along the bridge. The bridge is the only direct link between south Hampton and the eastern shore of Virginia.
