The scenic Northwest River Park offers 72 campground sites, plus picnicking areas, horse riding trails, and many other outdoor pursuits. With rivers surrounding it on three sides and a 29-acre man-made lake at its center, Northwest is also a bastion for watersports, featuring an almost limitless array of fishing, boating and swimming opportunities. It lies on more than 750 acres about 11 miles south of Chesapeake.
